FAQ

How can I host my own data in Redivis?

You can upload data directly from the Datasets tab of your workspace.

How do I sign up?

Currently, you must use either a Google account or your institutional email account (if your institution is a part of Redivis).

Why can't I see a dataset anymore?

The access restrictions might have changed. A user might have made the dataset private, or the organization's administrators might have added new requirements to access it that you haven't completed yet. It's also possible that some of your existing requirements have expired or been revoked. Go to the dataset page and click Apply for access to view the permission group.

If you can't find the dataset page, the administrators might have added a requirement to view the overview that you haven't met yet, or they might have unpublished it. Contact the organization administrators for further help.

Is Redivis HIPAA compliant?

The Redivis infrastructure is designed from the ground up to support HIPAA compliance. All data are encrypted in transit and at rest, and Redivis maintains compliance with the HIPAA Security Rule, the Privacy Rule, and the Breach Notification Rule, where applicable. Redivis is deployed on HIPAA-compliant infrastructure within the Google Cloud Platform, which leverages world class security expertise to manage sensitive data.

However, data administrators on Redivis are ultimately responsible for maintaining HIPAA compliance by appropriately managing access controls to data. Redivis supports varied access controls to data, ranging from fully public data to highly secured and restricted data — it is the responsibility of administrators to configure the appropriate level of security for every dataset.
