# Workflow$get

### Workflow$<mark style="color:purple;">get</mark>() → self

Fetches the workflow, after which workflow$properties will contain a named list with entries corresponding to the properties on the [workflowresource definition](https://docs.redivis.com/api/resource-definitions/workflow). Will raise an error if the workflow does not exist.
