You can compare any table to another to see how they differ. Click the Compare tables button to enter this mode, and then select the table to compare to.
If the table you are looking at belongs to a dataset you can compare it to previous versions of itself, and it's 1% sample (if available).
If you are looking at a table in a project, you can compare it to any other table in the project as well.
The table name on the left is always the source table, and the table on the right (in grey) is the comparison table.
All variables in both tables are displayed in the variable list. Variables that have been removed from the source are shown in red, variables that have been added are shown in green, and variables with updated names and/or types are shown in yellow. You will not be able to view the cells when comparing tables.
You can exit this mode by clicking the Compare tables button again
