# Version$get

### Version$<mark style="color:purple;">get</mark>() → self

Fetches the version, after which `version$properties` will contain a dict with entries corresponding to the properties on the [version resource definition](https://docs.redivis.com/api/resource-definitions/version). Will raise an error if the version does not exist.
